About Me

Describe Yourself:I'm curious. I'm tickled pink. I'm soft hearted. I'm strong willed. I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to be there. I'm excited about new things. I'm giggly...still . I'm amused at much. I'm annoyed at even more. I'm searching, always. I'm quick to anger and to forgive. I'm disillusioned with too much to name here.

Hey EM,
You're back! Sort of ;-). this new Gather is a bit cumbersome, but I've gotten used to it. zIf you know of another place, I can go there too!

Of course what she "forgot" to mention that it was in response to one of her attacks....."Stefano, you keep bringing up Clinton, Kerry and Kennedy. You smack of closet republicanism--poorly veiled at that. Are you one of those people who goes around, spreading rumors and propaganda about someone, in the guise of an "undecided" voter?
"Well I was GOING to vote for Senator Smith, until I found out he has a brown baby and his wife has a tattoo..."

I don't know if they are still active. Here was their mission statement:
We are Mothers Opposing Bush because this administration is leading our country away from our core values of honesty, compassion, community and patriotism.
- We deserve a president who heals conflicts with conversation and cooperation, not by bullying.
- We deserve a president who will not gamble away our savings on tax cuts for the wealthy and an unjustified war that is leaving our children saddled by an enormous deficit.
- We deserve a president who manages a budget that leaves no child behind, hungry or uneducated or impoverished.
- We deserve a president who believes sick people need equal access to quality healthcare, and that benefits for the elderly should not dwindle.
- We deserve a president who honors and protects our natural resources so that our own children can inherit, and pass on, a healthy planet.
- We deserve a president who respects the civil rights of every citizen, and leaves choices on God and marriage up to each individual.
